Manitoba Council for International Cooperation (MCIC) has done 8 videos on the topic of International Development, particularly highlighting activities supporting women and girls. UN Women is part of this - and here is how you can help - The video with the most views receives $250.00, which isn't much, but it also raises awareness about UN Women. With our Local to Global coming up (yes we have a date! APRIL 11), and place (VISCOUNT GORT), and theme ("The Impact of War and Peace on Women: Through the Eyes of a Journalist"), this is good timing for people to learn a bit about UN Women.
So please view and encourage everyone you know to see it too!!
