Hello private sponsors and service providers
Please forward this information through your networks
The Manitoba Dental Association has kindly responded to cutbacks in Interim Federal Health coverage by offering to provide free dental services for up to 290 privately sponsored refugees and refugee claimants who have arrived in Canada on October 21, 2011 or later. Manitoba Dental Association volunteers will offer this one day free dental service at an event named Open Wide on Saturday, October 20th. The service may include extractions, basic restorative, simple denture repair, endo openings (fixing diseased root canals), and cleanings.
Advance registration is required.
Registration can be made through a settlement counsellor at Welcome Place. Applicants may call 977-1000 to speak to a settlement counsellor and register by phone or in person. Applicants who do not already have a settlement file at Welcome Place will have to register as a settlement service client in order to register for the free dental service
