Why do we spend so much time on other people's private and personal lives? We are worrying that Tiger Woods is cheating on his wife and hey, this great role model has let us down. Whose model is Tiger Woods anyway? Canadians, please don't become as hypocritical as our friends next door. All this hype is because America sees itself as a Christian nation - I think they should be more worried about the model the Catholic Priests are setting for young people and for the nation instead of worrying about Tiger Woods - how shallow can we get? Is it because we have it too good, we have nothing better to do with our time? If we were living in a drought ridden country, or a war-torn country, would we give a rats behind what a rich guy like Tiger Woods does in his private life. Isn't it enough that he provides us with escape through his masterful skills in golf? Come on enough of this mind-numbing news. Let's put this man to bed now.
As for the commercial below, I think it is very yukky. It is in very poor taste and if that is meant to make me run out and support Nike, fat chance.
