Winnipeg is one big family. We take care of each other. It is heart-warming when the community rallies around someone in need, like the case of Breanna Robertson's family who is trying to make ends meet to take Breanna, 15 year old Kelvin High School student to the Mayo Clinic to deal with her troubling condition.
This is a city with a heart and I am so glad to be part of it.
I encourage everyone to get out and support the fundraiser at the Pyramid on May 10, 2010.
