Native Women of Canada Sisters in Spirit Initiative

A group of concerned citizens in Manitoba invites you to exercise your voice regarding the federal government’s decision to not renew funding for the Native Women of Canada’s Sisters in Spirit initiative.

Please write to Prime Minister Harper, and let him know that you care about the issue of missing and murdered Aboriginal women in Canada. Call on him to:

♦ RESTORES: Sufficient funding to the Native Women’s Association

of Canada.

♦ RECLAIMS: The important and identifiable “Sisters in Spirit”

program name and logo.

♦ REINSTITUTES: The SIS program collection of critically needed data

and research concerning missing and murdered Aboriginal Women.
